I can start with the bald as that refers to myself, time goes that quickly it’s blowing the hair off my head as it goes past!

Anyhow transparency, let’s start with the ugly;

Probably not ugly more teething issues, understanding & learning curves.

What System didn’t work & what did during harvest!

We launched our postcode system just as harvest was firing up.
If you are not familiar with the system you can go through the forums, there is a blog post explaining everything.

In brief, the system was designed so any contractors in a post code/s area can mark themselves available, the grower jumps on the website enters the postcode and it will provide the grower with everyone available in the area.

Was the system successful for 24/25 Harvest? No.

Did we give it a good chance to be successful, become a very useful tool?
I wouldn’t say we did.
The timing of the introduction couldn’t have been any less desirable & I’ll take full accountability for that.

Could I see a future for the postcode system? Definitely but their are many improvements needed.

The Good; We had really good feedback from our growers & contractors in terms of the jobs & both parties doing the right thing by each other.

Our company core values are Respect, Reliability & Responsibility & from the feedback we have had from contractors & growers majority worked with our core values.

There were three reports regarding one job having issues & we are following the outcome of that job & will act accordingly.

Website function; Overall scheme was okay, we did have speed & update issues. Lack of access due to being in a bad service area.
Feedback from our users navigating around the website, everyone has found it very user-friendly.
